My Room

In College Life on Saturday, August 30, 2008 by Eric Fu Tagged: ,

I took some pictures of my room.

This mattress set cost me USD 420 :( . It was originally almost USD 500 but I managed to do some negotiations. It is very comfortable and cozy. It consists of a set of bed frame, spring-box (divan) and the mattress itself.

My adorable Starbucks Barista bear (from Chicago) is saying hi to you!

This is my 5-shelf bookcase next to my bed. I bought it from Target and I realized that it is made in Malaysia!

A closer look at my bookshelf (mostly Math and French texts)…

An even closer look at it.

And finally, my bathroom.

I shall complete the virtual tour of my room by posting pictures of my writing desk and my (far-from-ideal) closet in future posts!

  1. How come my room is never that nice? T_T

And I saw something I never expected to see in a guy’s room – plush toys! And you have TWO!! LOL~

Nice toilet, by the way. :P

  2. Oh, I love stuffed animals! Especially bears… Come to think about it, stuffed bears are always perceived as adorable and lovely, when in reality bear can pose a great peril when angered.

  3. Eh, new Starbucks Bear! Got a name?
    Where’s the Boston one?

Your room is impressive, as usual. Is the price of that mattress normal? I mean, 420 is a lot of money!!

  4. Ahh, how I wish I could stay in a room as yours!! :D
Getting used to the grad school yet?? Hope everything goes well. I shall get used to my long working hours soon too, hopefully.

  5. Wow am so envious of ur apartment =)
Definitely great difference compared to my small pathetic hostel room here :-s
Hope you are coping well with life there

  6. How can someone be so neat?
I have a lot to learn from you Eric…..

  7. Jin Ye, so far no name for the bear yet — I still call him Barista Bear!

Teo Peng, come visit me and you’ll be able to check out my apartment yourself! I am doing okay here in Chapel Hill. Life has been stressful though.

Yee Pin, I think I have to attribute this to my OCD. Sigh…
